Born on December 13, 1964 in Yokosuka in Kanagawa prefecture.
He played guitar in X JAPAN as HIDE(always with capital letters) and as a solo artist he was hide(with small letters).
He also formed the band "hide with Spread Beaver" as well as "zilch".
His ideas regarding music, concerts and events were very innovative and exciting.
He created a new label "LEMONed" not only for music but for images, design, clothing, hair salon, etc.
Everything created by him lives on in our memories.
He sadly passed away on May 2nd, 1998.
The hide MUSEUM was opened from June, 2000 to September 2005 in Yokosuka and was visited by over 430,000 fans.
The MIX LEMONed JELLY, summer event was started by hide is still held in every summer.
May 2nd is hide Memorial Day and on December 13th we celebrate "hide Birthday Party", these are still held every year.
hide's spirit lives on in many people's hearts and he is still loved by many fans.
